Race Description

This is a popular pre-London marathon preparation race. The 20 mile distance, around 6 weeks before London, gives an excellent opportunity to test fitness and stamina.

The course is 99% traffic free, flat and fast. It is run under UK Athletics Rules and there are generous donations to local charities. Prizes to first 10 men and 6 women as well as to first vet in each category. Prizes also for first three teams, men and women, first 4 to count.

Race t shirt and medal to all finishers, but no guarantee of t shirt for entries on the day.

£21 for attached and £23 for unattached runners – postal entry closd on 14 February, but if there are spaces, entry on the day possible.
