Race Description

The next running of the annual mid week Lancaster & Morecambe AC 10k is scheduled for Wednesday July 18th at 7.30pm. Again this year it will be held from the athletics track adjacent to the Salt Ayre Sports Centre near Lancaster.

It is sponsored by the largest local running shop, The Runners Centre in King Street, Lancaster and is also used as the annual Lancashire Police 10k championship.

The race is registered under UK Athletics rules, and a medal and refreshments are provided for all finishers. There will be prizes for the first 3 men and 3 women, and prizes for each veteran category, from 35 for women and 40 for men. There are additional prizes for those in the Police Championships.

The entry fee is £7 for runners already in running clubs (attached) and £9 for non-attached, with an additional £1 fee for entries on the evening of the race. Late entry fee and entries on the day are an extra £1
