Race Description

This is the first marathon race in Lancaster and is being held to celebrate the London Olympics. The course is accurately measured, meets UK Athletics Rules and there will be chip timing.

There will be a race t-shirt, a goody bag and medal for all finishers. Cash prizes for men and women – 1st – £250; 2nd – £100 and 3rd – £50. The first in each vet category, both men and women, will receive a £50 prize.

There will be generous donations to local charities including the Lions Club, Run for the World, Animal Care and Lancaster & Morecambe AC.
