Race Description

This annual event has gained an enviable reputation for being well organised with a great family atmosphere. There are fun runs for children from 12 noon.
The 10k route starts with a lap of the school playing fields before heading out in to the private Moor Park estate, over Rickmansworth and Moor Park Golf Courses and back through the estate to the school grounds. The junior events are confined to the playing fields.
All finishers get a medal, plus there are trophies for the first three in each age category and for winning teams. The 2012 Shield is awarded to the school that enters the most children in the junior events.
There’s a fun fair, bouncy castles and games to keep everyone entertained.
The event raises money for the Lynda Jackson Macmillan Centre, the support and information service at Mount Vernon Cancer Centre in Northwood, Middlesex.
