Race Description

SNAPE 10K & 5K FUN RUN – 1st October 2011 at 11.00am

For the 23rd year Snape Village and The Friends of Snape School are organizing a 10k and 5k fun run. The runs are supervised by marshals and are mainly over fields and footpaths surrounding Snape, where both runs start and finish. The 5k Fun Run is particularly suitable for children, but also provides a challenge to adults. The 10k run is much more of a challenge passing through the outskirts of Bedale.
All finishes receive a medal with trophies awarded to various class winners. School teams are also welcome with further team prizes being awarded and a trophy donated by Allertonshire school for the first girls team. Afterwards lunches and refreshments are available from the village institute. All proceeds this year will be shared between Snape Community Primary School and Snape Village Institute.
