Congratulations to the winners: James Trollope of Birchfield Harriers who completed the 10K course in 00:31:41 and Mandy Vernon, of Trentham AC who completed the 10K course in 00:39:18.

This was the first time my husband and I had entered the Lichfield 10K (being fairly recent runners). We really enjoyed the run and thought it very well organised. However, I am pretty disappointed to end up with en extra large t-shirt (I am a size 10!) after being told it was a medium size. All the small t-shirts were apparently given out before the race started (which I think is a bit unfair – you wouldn’t collect a medal before running a race after all). Ah well, you live and learn. A great day running but a useless t-shirt at the end.

All is well. I managed to e-mail the event organisers (Lichfield 10K) and have had a very swift response. A small t-shirt is now on its way to me. I shall stop moaning now and simply congratulate them on managing to organise a very enjoyable run today.
