An up and down fell race up to a distinct moorland summit with 1,000 feet of ascent Rough and quite wet on the upper half. Fast and grassy on the lower half. The race is part of a village Fair and Scarecrow Festival. There are junior races for a range of age groups. These take place immediately after the start of the senior race.
