Race Description

This is Malta’s oldest road race that has kept the same route since 1979. It is the second largest race in Malta only second to the Malta Marathon & Half Marathon. This race grows each year, the 2013 M2S saw a record number of 607 participants finishing this road race.

The distance is 10.8miles or 17.4km and starts at 200m above sea level, just outside the Mdina which is the old capital city of Malta. The finish is in spinola Bay which is at sea level so as one can imagine this could be a pretty fast race.
Although the route is not traffic free, it is entirely marshalled all along the way by police and wardens.
Each finisher gets a unique 7mm thick dated medal.
