With 18,000 entries so far, the Brighton Marathon is in the top twelve running events in the UK for participation. General entry is now closed but there are over 300 charities with places in the race – see the “Charities” tab for details. 
The BUPA Great South Run is billed as “the world’s leading 10 mile running event” and sees thousands of runners tour the naval dockyards of Portsmouth. The event will be televised live on Channel 5 – so be sure to pack your best fancy dress!
