Race Description

If you’re looking for a fun but challenging event to focus on after marathon season or something to kick start the summer season then the Brighton Blast! could be the event for you. Taking place on Sunday 12 June it will add a bit of fun to your racing calendar.

The Brighton Blast! is an urban adventure event that will have you racing around the streets of Brighton & Hove running approximately 10km. There isn’t an official route just checkpoints to be reached. Each entrant will be given a map to find the checkpoints but must remember the shortest route is not necessarily the fastest route though.

Added to the running will be various challenges along Brighton seafront which will include a fitness challenge, a kayak challenge and a beach sports challenge.

The emphasis is on fun for the event with the added feature of a race for those that want to push themselves as well. The Brighton Blast is both an individual and a team event, for the team event it is two members to a team.

Every entry fee will also be raising money for the charity Passing It On, a charity based in Brighton which raises money to build schools in Africa.

So if you’re looking for something that little bit different this summer then the Brighton Blast! could be the event that you’re looking for. Give it a try it will be a blast!
