This demanding but scenic 20-mile race is a popular warm up to spring marathons such as Windermere and Edinburgh. It is a friendly, well marshalled event, taking place lostly on country lanes in Cheshire and Staffordshire, with a cash prize list, and t-shirts for all finishers, plus free pre- and post-race massage available.
