This demanding but scenic 20-mile race is a popular warm up to spring marathons such as Windermere and Edinburgh. It is a friendly, well marshalled event, taking place lostly on country lanes in Cheshire and Staffordshire, with a cash prize list, and t-shirts for all finishers, plus free pre- and post-race massage available.
This is the 2nd race in the 2012 Cheshire Grand Prix series
An accurately measured 5 mile road race on a fast course along rural lanes starting and finishing at Cheshire County Sports Club, Upton, Chester CH2 1PR (Grid ref. SJ421688)
The course has been modified for 2012 to relocate the Start.
A fast flat course, good PB potential, generous prize list with cash for the first 3 male and females as well as prizes for all veteran categories and team prizes.
