Race Description

This will be the fourth edition of the incredibly popular city centre event which takes in some of the best sights in the City, including the sea front, Roker Park and the famous River Wear. The event has grown in size in each of the previous three years and is already a much anticipated occasion in the Sunderland sporting and social calendar.

Entries are NOW OPEN and whether you’re a first timer or a seasoned campaigner we look forward to welcoming you to the 2014 race. Just visit our entry page to register and then training can begin. Simple!

The Stadium of Light, as usual, provides the fantastic backdrop for the start and finish and every competitor will receive their event medal, technical t-shirt and goody bag. Car Parking is free and two Metro Stations provide easy access to the Stadium of Light area.
