Race Description

The Santa Dash is like no other Fun Run creating a unique atmosphere as around 8,000 Santas converge on Liverpool city centre. Everyone attends in full costume (no exceptions) and it will be evident as you get nearer to the start just who your running colleagues are. You will see them on buses, trains, in cars and walking along the streets of Liverpool!

Everyone congregates at the Pier Head and as the warm up begins just before 9.30am (well it is December!) an inspirational sight unfolds with the massed congregational filling the entire roadway! Absolutely stunning!

The excitement builds as runners and joggers flood the city with a sea of red (and some blue!) extending as far as Lime Street and London Road before heading back toward the finish line along Dale Street. If you are in the middle of the pack then check out the view ahead of you as you approach the flyover at the end of Dale Street. You won’t believe your eyes.

All of a sudden you will be back at the finish line to be greeted by rapturous applause, snow flurries, Christmas trees, a reindeer and a snowman! You have to see it to experience it!
