Race Description

The Rodeo Run includes a 5K Race, 1 Mile Fun Run/Walk, and Kid’s Short Course Race (for children ages 8 and under only). This small town race has big time charm and starts and finishes in downtown Marquette, KS. Runners and walkers will be on the city streets and the Pioneer Trail, which has an unpaved, but firm flat surface. Strollers are welcome. Chip timing has been added for this year and age group awards will be given to 5K participants. Kid’s Short Course participants all get a small medal and door prizes are given at the awards ceremony. This event is during Marquette’s annual Smoky Valley Saddle Club weekend.
