ARCHIVED RACE: Rock River Run @ Rock Valley City Park, Iowa, United States on 11 August 2012

Join us for a 5K, 10K, or 1 mile run as part of Rock Valley’s annual “Rally in the Valley” celebration. Participants will start at the city park at the intersection of Highway 18 and 13th Avenue. From here, the participants will run through the streets of Rock Valley to the city’s trail system. Miles will be marked, and water/aid stations will be available near miles 1, 2, & 4.

Participants will wear timing chips, which will be regulated by Race Place Chip Timing. All particiapants will receive a long-sleeved t-shirt featuring the 2012 Rock River Run logo. Refreshments will be available to all participants after the race. Medals will be awarded to the top 3 men and women of each age category. Results will be posted at the shelter house and online at www.raceplacechiptiming.com.

The cost for participating will vary based on distance and registration date. The online registration closes at 11:59 pm on August 9. Participants who wish to register on August 10 or 11 must do so at packet pickup on the 10th or by 7:15 AM on the 11th. Participants who register on race day can participate, but are not guaranteed to be timed or to receive a t-shirt.
