Kick off your World Championships Experience with a 5k
Join us on Saturday, July 16, 2022 at 8:00am at the Booth Kelly Trailhead just 3 miles from Historic Hayward Field. This out and back 5k on the flat, paved, traffic-free, multi-use Booth Kelly trail provides a mix of natural, urban and industrial scenery.

All participants will receive a custom-crafted finisher medal and commemorative bumper sticker. This race will be chip timed by Wolf Creek Race Management.

Aid Station: At the turnaround point (2500 meters). Water and first aid will be available. This is a CUPLESS EVENT! Disposable cups will not be available. We will provide reusable silicone cups. You may also bring your own bottle or hydration pack.

Packet Pickup: At the start/finish area from 6:30 – 7:45 AM.

Awards: The top 3 in each of the following categories. Female Overall, Male Overall, F 12 & Under, M 12 & Under, F 13-19, M 13-19, F 20-29, M 20-29, F 30-39, M 30-39, F 40-49, M 40-49, F 50-59, M 50-59, F 60+, M 60+. Awards will be based on gun time.

Start Window: You will have from 8:00 AM to 8:05 AM to start your race. Online results will feature chip times but awards will be based on gun times.
