Race Description

The Portland Marathon by OHSU Expo will take place on Saturday, October 5, 2019 from 10:00 AM to 8:00 PM at the Oregon Convention Center at 777 NE Martin Luther King Jr Blvd, Portland, OR 97232. The 48th running of the Portland Marathon will take place on Sunday, Oct 6th, 2019. Now under new management, this historic race has been reborn with an entirely new route and a renewed commitment to community involvement and inclusion. The event will feature a full marathon as well as a half marathon. Both routes have been redesigned to offer a fast course while also displaying the most iconic and beautiful landmarks and neighborhoods in Portland. The race will be USATF certified and will be a Boston Marathon qualifier. Course maps and descriptions can be viewed on the courses page of the website.
