The Stroke Association’s first Resolution Run in Leeds is taking place on Sunday 11 March 2011 at Roundhay Park.

The course at Roundhay Park is perfect for novices to try running, walking or jogging, or for a seasoned runner to warm up for longer distances in the future.

With three distances to choose from you decide the distance and set your Resolution challenge.

Stroke is the UK’s third biggest killer and the leading cause of adult disability. By signing up for Resolution Run, taking regular exercise and following a healthier lifestyle, you will be reducing your own chances of having a stroke in the future.

Resolution is an opportunity to raise much needed funds and awareness for those affected by stroke.

It is £10 to enter and there is no set sponsorship target, we just ask that you raise as much as you can. The registration fee only covers the cost of organising the event, the sponsorship money is used to help all those affected by stroke.
