  • Hi. On 9th June the famous former RAF Vulcan bomber will be flying to and from an air show at RAF Cosford (near Wolverhampton). As it is flying from its home base at Doncaster Airport, it will be passing very close to Sheffield both on the way to the show and on the way back (probably mid-afternoon). I wonder if your organisers could contact the operators and ask them to make a flypast over Meadowhall to support your event? I’m sure they could do this for free (it simply requires the route to be amended) and it would make a stunning attraction to bring people to the event at Meadowhall. I suggest you email the organisers and ask them. I’m sure they would love to support the event.

This may seem like a stupid question but what is the route of the race for life at meadowhall???? Is it outside or inside? Never done it before so have no idea!

Meadowhall is one of the North’s most famous shopping destinations with 1.5 million sq ft of floor space and 280 stores.

Meadowhall opened in 1990 on the site of a former steelworks. Since then, over 25 million people have visited the mall every year, using 12,000 free parking spaces.

There’s even a landing pad for your helicopters if that’s your preferred mode of transport!
