Race Description

We are pleased to announce the seventh annual Officer Shawn Silvera Memorial Run will take place on Saturday, August 25 at Long Lake Regional Park in New Brighton, MN. More than 500 runners and walkers participated in 2011, with continued growth anticipated in 2012. The event is held in partnership with the Minnesota Chapter of Concerns of Police Survivors (MN C.O.P.S.).

The morning activities will begin at 8 a.m. with a 5K run, followed by a 2K family walk at 8:45 and children’s 50 yard Daisy Dash at 9:30.

Throughout the morning, children and families can participate in a variety of activities including arts and crafts, musical entertainment and much more! Donated items will be featured in a silent auction and raffle drawing.
