Race Description

We are pleased to announce the ninth annual Officer Shawn Silvera Memorial Run will take place on Saturday, August 23 at Long Lake Regional Park in New Brighton, MN. The event is held in partnership with the Minnesota Chapter of Concerns of Police Survivors (MN C.O.P.S.).

The 1 mile and 5K courses are certified and the races will be chip timed. All who work in public safety are invited to participate in the Public Safety Challenge- a team competition incorporated into the 5K run. This event has generated friendly competition between departments throughout the metro.

Throughout the morning, children and families can participate in a variety of activities, and enjoy musical entertainment. Donated items will be featured in a silent auction and raffle drawing.
