Race Description

Course Details: A supreme test of fitness ! Participants will complete a 6ish mile gruelling cross country course interspersed with ten different tests of strength, endurance and co-ordination

This is a different course to the Mud Runner CLASSIC cross country held in the autumn and as it is held in May, we cannot guarantee it will be muddy, however, competitors will need to be able to swim ! (well, to be honest you won’t need to swim very far – 30-50metres, and there will be lots of ropes for you to pull yourself along with if you don’t really fancy a paddle)

The Tests: The fitness tests will be spaced across the whole course (about one every kilometre) and include obstacles to climb, up, over, round, under, swim and through.

The Finish: as with all events, there will of course be a sting in the tail, of course you will have to finish the course and earn your right to suffer the last few yards.

Time: Oblivion will start at 11.00am. Dependent on how confident you are with the wonders of the british transport system you will want to allow yourself plenty of time to get to the site, sort your kit out, make frequent trips to the toilet, retie your laces and go through your absurd (they are not cute or lucky) pre-race rituals before getting to the start. The gun (well something that goes bang) will go for the start at 11am, best make sure you are there.
