Race Description

The Mid Mountain Marathon takes place on its namesake trail, the Mid Mountain Trail in Park City, Utah. Starting at 8’100’ in Deer Valley the MMM traverses 3 world-class resorts on an IMBA Epic trail noted for spectacular mountain scenery. Via cool evergreen forests and lush aspen groves athletes gain and lose again about 1,700’ over the course of nearly 27 miles, making this a “trail flat” marathon. But beware, a few mind-crushing climbs present athletes with a considerable challenge throughout the game. Finishing times range between 3 and 7 hours, demonstrating the appeal of this course to all ability levels. This course is considered to be amongst the most accessible and beautiful trail marathons out there.

The race begins in Silver Lake/Deer Valley, traverses the Mid Mountain trail through Park City Mountain Resort, detouring onto Ironman trail for few miles and then returning to the Mid Mountain trail, ending at Canyons Resort Village.
