Race Description

The Super Spartan Race is an 8-mile obstacle course race happening in in Leesburg, VA at Morven Park on Saturday, August 25, 2012. The foot race features obstacles like 5′ over under through, 8′ wall, 12′ slippery ramp, cargo net climb, barbed wire crawl, water cannon, traverse wall, and has Spartan inspired elements like the gladiator pit!

Proceeds of the race go to Homes for our Troops, a charity dedicated to providing specialty homes for veterans who have been severely injured. The goal in the 2012 season is to raise enough money to build a “Spartan Home” for an injured troop. Each participant will receive a Spartan Race t-shirt and medal.
The post-race activities will include an awards ceremony, kid’s race, as well as many other activities guaranteed to be fun for the entire family! If you are interested in battling mud, obstacles, and the occasional Spartan, register at:
