Race Description

This is probably one of the fastest 5k races around. It runs on part of the transpennine trail which is flat with long straight bits and is all tarmac. This free race is run on the first Saturday at each month and is into its 3rd year now.

It has parking, toilets, changing, bottled water at the and and prizes too. The race regularly receives complements for the course, organisation and friendliness. It is a race suitable for all abilities from the sub 15 minute runner through to anyone new to running just wanting to try out their first race and everything inbetween.
