Race Description

One of the best organised and friendliest events you will ever come across! All proceeds from the race are donated to charity. In 2014 the main beneficiary is the East Cheshire Hospice.
2014 will be the 12th edition of the race. The race starts and finishes at Macclesfield Athletics Track and follows an undulating scenic course. Chip timing, free parking, free race photographs and baggage storage. Specially designed technical t-shirt and goody bag for all finishers. Age category and spot prizes. Not suitable for wheelchair athletes. If you aren’t ready for the Half Marathon why not give the 5K a go? Either way you can be assured of a great event!
