Race Description

There are lots of marathons. Lots of great marathons. But only one Louisiana Marathon. Each year, runners from 50 states and 32 countries return to The Louisiana Marathon for Rendezvous on the Bayou. The Louisiana Marathon course features a fast, flat, runner-friendly path through the lakes, along the river, around downtown, on the university campus and in historic neighborhoods. And competitive runners: the course has a USAT&F Certification (#LA11019JF), making it your perfect opportunity to qualify for the Boston Marathon. As lagniappe, we’ll have local music along the course for runners and spectators to enjoy throughout the race.

Runners can expect a marathon, half marathon, quarter marathon, 5K and kids marathon during race weekend.
