Race Description

It’s the longest running triathlon in the country celebrating its 34th year! On October 23, 2011 triathletes of all levels enjoy this Orange County classic, it has long been a favorite of both seasoned triathletes and first-timers.

The .5 mile swim course will be in the Back Bay of Newport Beach. The flat-water ocean swim will be followed by a 15 mile two-loop cycling course, which will take place on Back Bay and Eastbluff Drives. The race will conclude with a new fast and scenic 3 mile run course which incorporates the new Back Bay View Park.
