Race Description

The Komen Connecticut Race for the Cure offers a little something for everyone- a 5K Race, 4K and 1.5K Walks, and two sprint distance events for Kids! All of our lives have been affected by breast cancer- join in Connecticut’s fight to end this terrible disease.

Donations to Komen Connecticut support research and local breast cancer education, screening and treatment programs across Connecticut. When we say “Keeping it Local”, we mean it. Not a penny of the money donated to Komen Connecticut goes to support Komen National. There is no other organization that does what we do on a grassroots local level. And the more than 3,000 Connecticut women diagnosed with breast cancer each year know that they can rely on us- and all of our volunteers, fundraisers, teams and sponsors- to continue our work supporting the local fight against breast cancer
