Race Description

The Gateshead Trail 10k is back for the 3rd year. Now a firmly established race on the North East racing calendar its a race that’s both scenic and fast with PB potential.

Traffic free with great scenery, the route snakes though the beautiful Derwent Walk Country Park. With only a few inclines and run on wide open trails, the route is fast, and appeals to all running abilities!

The GT10 focuses on the full running experience both pre, post and during the race. The course has been designed with the enjoyment of our runners at its heart. Its an all inclusive field from first timers to high level club runners. Everyone is welcomed, and the atmosphere stoked by Kenny and Metro Radio is fantastic.
