Race Description
Introducing Gateshead’s newest trail race! The Gateshead Trail 10k or GT10 for short.
The Gateshead Trail 10k is all about the essence of running, an event that puts the participants at its heart. This truly is a race with something for everyone, the course has variety, intrigue, surprise, whether a running novice or a seasoned pro.
With no traffic and beautiful scenery the route snakes though the beautiful Derwent Walk Country Park. Throughout the route, sections link up making it a fun and sociable event. With only a few inclines and run on wide open trails, the route is fast and inclusive of all running abilities!!
We look to put smiles on as many faces as possible. Will you join us for 2014? We hope so!! Be part of something memorable!
