Race Description

The Half Marathon (part of the Edinburgh Marathon Festival) has seen a massive increase in entries growing 60% in 2012. The half marathon is set to become one of Scotland’s largest races in its own right.

You need to be quick to get your place, entries to the half close on Thursday 8th April 2013 or when the entry limit is reached (whichever is soonest).

The route has an elevation drop of almost 40m so is perfect for those wishing to achieve a personal best time.

The route takes in the Palace of Holyrood House, The Royal Mile, Dynamic Earth, Scottish Parliament, Holyrood Park and runs past the beautiful sandy beaches of East Lothian.
