Race Description

The course twists and turns frequently over gently undulating terrain with the odd steep bank and muddy pit. Using mountain bike trails, sheep paths, logging tracks, and a few down-right filthy ditches, its interesting running, with every corner bringing a new challenge.

A shorter 5 Km course is also being offered for those who want a shorter distance, fancy a sprint, or just start your mud running a wee bit easier.

We also have a fun mile course for the younger ones

Starting and finishing in front of the imposing Craufurdland Castle, there is no better way to spend a Sunday morning, conditions from rolling grassland (well a little bit anyway) to mud, wet mud and sticky mud.
