Race Description

Taking place in the alluring seaside village of Abersoch North Wales. The Chaparral Abersoch Half Marathon will commence on Saturday 5th October 2013 at 10 am and is complimented by everything, which you would expect of a race in the Big Smoke, drink stations providing water or lucozade, mile markers and Marshalls throughout the course, medals to all finishers, digital times captured live by ChronoChip timing and did we mention the £1000 prize purse? Not only does the race feature all the above amenities but also the beauty of the course is truly staggering featuring world class views of Cardigan Bay, St Tudwal’s Islands, Hell’s mouth & Bardsey Island, Abersoch itself & the golf course. These same views have previously attracted runners of the highest calibre including European Cross Country Champion Nick Swinburn and current Welsh Marathon Champion Alun Vaughan.
