ARCHIVED RACE: Bunny Dash “Go Green” 5K Race @ Deer Grove East Forest Preserve, Palatine, Illinois, United States on 14 April 2012

Adrenaline Sports Management and Whole Foods Market would like to formally invite your club to participate in the 2012 Bunny Dash 5K. The race will be “Going Green” in support of Earth Month.

As competitors race through the course, various activities are available for families and kids of all ages. This includes an Egg Hunt with over 3,000 eggs, a Live Petting Zoo and the Easter Bunny. This event is full of delight and excitement that will definitely leave you wanting more.
The race will be held on Saturday March 14 in Palatine, IL at the Deer Grove Forest Preserve. The races for this event include a 5K race, 1 mile youth race, and a 100-Yard Kids Dash/Egg Hunt. See event overview for race times and registration fees.

Event Overview:
• Date: Saturday, April 14
• Races and Times:
o 8:30 a.m.- 1 Mile Youth Race (12 and under)
o 9:00 a.m.- 5K Race
o 10:00- Egg Hunt (Ages 2-8)
• Place: Deer Grove East Forest Preserve(Corner of Dundee & Hicks in Palatine)
• Registration Fee Per Race/Event (Per Person):
o 5K-
 $30 until April 7
 $35 April 7-13
 $40 day-of registration
o 1 Mile Youth Race- $10
o Egg Hunt- $5
 Easter egg basket included
• Awards:
o The 5k race is on a USATF sanctioned course and will be timed.
o Awards will be given to the top three times in each of the respective age divisions, both male and female.
• Other Interesting Facts:
o This is a Go Green Event:
No Paper materials in goody bad unless they are recyclable
We will not be using generators, inflatable banners, etc.
o Will award the greenest athlete- someone who bikes/walks to the event, promotes being green, etc.
o Will have a petting zoo & the Easter Bunny will be there
