Race Description

This is the 40th annual running of the York White Rose Run. It is a fast field that runs through York City streets. The course is on roads and winds through the downtown, old industrial and residential areas of the City. In general the course is rolling, with one significant hill around mile 3.75 that turns into a long, swooping downhill finish.
White Rose Bar & Grill will have food and drink for all finishers. The post race party includes the award ceremony, cornhole, a bounce house, and live entertainment. There is prize money for the top five M and F finishers, as well as top two M and F masters finishers. In addition, there are also age group awards, and a team competition that earns a travelling trophy and free entry into next year’s race.
