Race Description

If you have even considered travelling to Russia and running here, there is a great opportunity opened – International Yaroslavl Half Marathon on 13 September 2014.

Yaroslavl is a capital of famous «Golden Ring» of Russia with over 1000-years of past. The whole city centre is on the list of UNESCO World Heritage Site, and Yaroslavl International Half Marathon is the only race in the world that lies almost all through this area.

If you want to see Old Russia and look at the buildings, see the sights, enjoy the culture, and learn something new about a different country that you may not have visited, then it IS for you.

The Event offers three running distances available (3km, 10km and 21.1km) for participants with different abilities.

There are lots of tourism opportunities in the region, thus Yaroslavl Half Marathon is a great way to plan your perfect «city break» as well – just let us know.
