World Vision Canada hosts an annual Global 6k run/walk across the country in support of water project sin Africa. World Vision’s Global 6k for Water is a fun way for family and friends from your community to come together and provide clean, life-changing water to children in need.

Why a 6K? It’s the average round trip distance women and children in the developing world walk for water — water that is often contaminated with life-threatening diseases. Every step you take is one they won’t have to.When you register to walk/run the 6K, We’ll send you a race kit with everything you need including a unique race bib with the picture of a child receiving clean water from World Vision’s water projects, a T-shirt(who raised $50), and a medal.Every $50 fund raised at the 2019 Global 6K For Water provides clean water that lasts for one person.

*100% of funds raised during this event goes to World Vision’s Water Projects in the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC).*
