Race Description

This is the 7th anniversary of MNCREW’s Women Run the Cities event and it will be held on Sunday, Sept. 22nd, 2013. Participants will start and finish their races at Minnehaha Park in Minneapolis. Women Run the Cities is a running/walking event for women and girls featuring a 10-mile run, 5k run/walk, and 1-mile girls run. It is open to all women, from experienced runners and walkers to beginners. The course gives participants and spectators the opportunity to enjoy a crisp fall morning along the Mississippi River.

The Minnesota Commercial Real Estate Women’s (MNCREW’s) Women Run the Cities event is designed to encourage women of all ages to engage in a healthy and active lifestyle.

The majority of the proceeds from the event will benefit the Ann Bancroft Foundation, an organization dedicated to supporting women and girls to realize their highest dreams and potential. ABF has helped over 500 girls and women with their Dare to Dream mini-grants.

The event will also support CREW Foundation whose national grant programs assist women and girls achieve economic self-sufficiency and promote the entry of more women into commercial real estate careers.

Friday, September 20th – 12 until 6pm – at West End, St Louis Park
Saturday, September 21st – 10am until 5pm – at West End, St Louis Park
Sunday, September 22nd – Beginning at 7am – at race site – Minnehaha Park, Minneapolis, MN
The race begins at 8am.
