Race Description
This is a once in a lifetime opportunity to do a ultra trail run down the Fish River Canyon (Namibia) which is the second largest canyon on earth. Total distance is around 90km, with the start of the event taking place on top of the canyon after which the trail follows the rim of the canyon and finally descends into the canyon at the Sulphur Springs access point, thereafter the route follows the course of the Fish river on the canyon floor, ending at the Ais Ais hot water springs resort.
Entry fees include transportation to the canyon from the capital city of Windhoek (some 700km), accommodation in rustic race village on the canyons edge and lastly in the Ais Ais resort, all meals up until the return to Windhoek after the event.
