Race Description

A race between runners and Horse and Riders.
Distance approx 22.5 miles over mixed terrain including some challenging ascents and descents.
Open to Individual runners Relay Teams and Horse and Riders .
Trophies in various categories and a cash prize for the first runner should they finish in a faster time than the first horse .It has been achieved twice before in 38 years .
The course travels through the edge of the Cambrian Mountains and passes along forestry and farm tracks , grassland, rocky surfaces, boggy areas and a few water crossings. The scenery is magnificent if you have time to take in the views.
Relay teams of three persons minimum age 16 yrs. Individual runners minimum age 18 yrs and Riders minimum age 16 yrs.
Runners start at 11.00 am and riders at approx 11.15 am ( time is adjusted at the finish)
entry £30.00 solo runners, £40.00 Horses , £75.00 relay teams
