Race Description

If you fancy a half marathon (13.2 miles) along one of Britain’s most beautiful stretches of river and through spectacular woodlands, this is the event for you. Two laps of an entirely off-road course will take you along banks of the Wye, then uphill along winding tracks through unspoiled woodlands and downhill along the picturesque Whitebrook.

We aim to attract 300 + runners (17 yrs and over) and their friends and supporters to what promises be a fun day out in glorious countryside for runners and non-runners alike, with a welcoming village fete atmosphere.

The race will begin and end in a meadow at Tump Farm, Whitebrook on the banks of the river Wye. There will be ample car parking, WCs, and a refreshment tent offering hot and cold drinks, snacks, burgers and a licensed bar.

The venue is approximately 7 miles from Monmouth and 12 miles from Chepstow. Drive time from Bristol – 50 minutes, Cardiff – 1 hour, Birmingham 1 1/2 hours, London – 3 hours.
