This 42 year old tradition of Webster, NY was started by Jim May, former English Teacher in Webster. Jim May started this event simply as a practice run for his Cross Country Team, as a way for them to get a workout on Thanksgiving Day. As the years progressed, the event grew to what it is today. Jim May’s former XC Runner, Dave Boutillier, took over the reigns of the race in the late 90’s under his Race Directing Company, YellowJacket Racing. Each year this race reminds Dave and many other former Webster residents of his youth and running this event every year.

Chip timing and plenty of post-race food for all participants. More Information to follow. Sweatshirt to all participants registered by 10/12, cotton T-Shirt to all registered between 10/13 and 11/8, Custom bag to all registered after 11/8.
Packet Pickup/Registration:
Available at both Fleet Feet Sports locations (2210 Monroe Avenue, Rochester, NY 14618 OR 2522 Ridgeway Ave, Rochester, NY 14626) on:
Saturday, Nov. 23rd (9-5PM)
Sunday, Nov. 24th (12-5PM)
Monday, Nov. 25th thru Wednesday, Nov. 27th (10-7PM)
or race morning at the race site starting at 8:15AM. It is HIGHLY advised to go to Packet Pickup to alleviate race day lines.

4.4 Mile Course
This route is the exact route Jim formed 40 years ago. Due to long standing tradition it has not been changed nor altered. Please note, it may wind up a little less than 4.4 (more like 4.12) but due to its long standing tradition of being stated as 4.4 miles take it as you ran a really good 4.4 miler.
The last 1/4 mile is on grassy trails in Webster Park.
2.5 Mile Course
This fun run starts at 10:10AM at the corner of Holt and Lake.
The fun run finishes the same way the 4.4 miler does
The fun run will be chip timed
Directions to Race
Take 104 to Holt Road Exit, head North on Holt Rd. towards Webster Park
Race Parking
Please carpool if you can. Parking will be in the Parkview Lodge Lot, the lot across from Parkview Lodge AND overflow in the Pier Lot on Lake Rd. If a lot is full it will then be closed and you will be detoured to the overflow Pier lot. There will also be shuttle bus service from Willink Middle School.
