Race Description

Heroes Run and Family Fun Day

Walk, jog or run 5km or 10km in aid of your local Air Ambulance. The Heroes Run is our very own flagship Fun Run series which takes place in a number of locations across the counties that we cover. There is no age limit for our runs and everyone is welcome to attend as a participant or even as a spectator. Whether you want to walk, jog or run, invite your friends, family and colleagues and get involved to show your support for the Derbyshire, Leicestershire & Rutland Air Ambulance!

Wear Yellow or dress up as your favourite Superhero!

Stay for the day, bring a picnic and enjoy our ‘Finish Line Festival’.

The ‘Finish Line Festival’ is open to participants, spectators and anyone who would like to come along and support the Air Ambulance. So even if you don’t fancy putting your running shoes on, why not come along and enjoy our afternoon entertainment and visit your Air Ambulance helicopter and lifesaving crew.

Fundraising

The DLRAA receive no government or lottery funding and rely entirely on public donations and sponsorship from people like you. We need your support to continue operating our lifesaving service so sign up now and start fundraising today!

We ask that each participant commits to raise a minimum of £30; and hope that all of our participants will do their best to get sponsored and raise as much as possible for such a fantastic cause.
