Experience the thrill of ULTRAMEDITERRANIA—a three-day trail running odyssey set in the wild, mountainous heart of Alicante. Each year, the rugged interior of southeastern Spain transforms into the ultimate playground for one of the most exciting and demanding trail events on the calendar.
At the core of ULTRAMEDITERRANIA is the legendary Ultra PRO 162K, a long-distance ultra linking the region’s most iconic peaks and mountain ranges. Tailored for seasoned trail runners, this exceptional route tests endurance, resolve, and skill with its technical trails, steep ascents, and breathtaking Mediterranean views.
🔹 Ultra PRO – 162 km (+8,050 m). The main event. An ultra-distance challenge that crosses the most iconic peaks and ridgelines of northern Alicante. Steep climbs, technical descents, and remote singlet rack trails test even the most seasoned mountain runners. The route features panoramic viewpoints, limestone outcrops, and high-mountain villages steeped in history.
