Race Description

The Twisted Ankle is a trail race for runners who like a challenge. It is beautiful and fun and hard, and full of awesome fellow runners and rocks and roots and gummi bears. There is a little asphalt at the beginning to spread out the runners, but the majority is in the woods on single and double track, with some gravel service roads. All proceeds go to the James H. (Sloppy) Floyd State Park chapter of the Friends of GA State Parks.
