Race Description

25 mile walk/run/jog from Upper Wharfedale School, Threshfield BD23 5BS GR(SD 992640) in the picturesque setting of the Yorkshire Dales National Park via Threshfield Moor, Winterburn Reservoir, Rylestone Moor, Barden Tower, Trollers Ghyll and returning to Threshfield via Burnsall and along the banks of the river Wharfe.

A tough course with 3064ft of ascent. Route map available via email

An alternative route of 12 miles is available for walkers only.

Certificates will be given to all competitors who finish within the time limit of 10 hours and a woven badge will be available to purchase.

The database of addresses for last for years event was accidentally erased, so those of you who didn’t recieve their cert for last years event can pick it up on the day of the 2012 event.

A hot meal will be provided at the finish. (Vegetarian option)

Start time: 09.00 am (Walkers can start at 8am once number is collected from registration)

Entry fee: 25 Mile route £10.00 in advance; £12 OTD. 12 Mile route £8.00 in advance; £10 OTD.
