Race Description

The Bayshore Marathon starts at 7:00 AM on the grounds of Northwestern Michigan College, then winds through one mile of residential neighborhoods. The majority of the race will follow the waterfront along the East Arm of Grand Traverse Bay including Birchwood Drive, East Shore Road, Center Road (M-37) and Bluff Road. The course is flat, 100% paved and shaded along much of the route. Expect a fast and scenic race with some of the most breathtaking views available on any marathon course. There will be 13 aid stations on the course. Absolutely no roller blades, pets, wagons, baby joggers or other wheeled vehicles will be allowed on the course. Radio/tape, I-Pod, MP3 player, or similar head sets are strongly discouraged.
