• How to Find Start Line: From the North: Leave the M6 at junction 34. The turn left onto A683. Turn left onto the one way system on the A6. At traffic signals continue on to the A589. Keep in the left hand lane and continue forward onto the A589. At the roundabout take the first exit onto Ovangle Road : B5273. Turn left onto Salt Ayre Lane and then onto Doris Henderson Way. From the South: Leave the M6 at junction 34, then turn right onto the A683. Bear left into one way system on the A6. At traffic signals continue forward onto the A589. Keep in left hand lanes and continue forward on the A589. At roundabout take the 1st exit onto Ovangle Road : B5273. Turn left onto Salt Ayre Lane. Arrive on Doris Henderson Way
• Nearest Parking: There is some parking at Salt Ayre Leisure Centre, though not enough for all. It is around 20 or 30 minute walk from the train station to the start or there is Parking on the side streets of the White Lund Industrial Estate around a five minute walk away. We are trying to negotiate additional parking at AXA insurance over the road from the leisure centre but we encourage all local runners to arrive on foot or bike where possible to avoid congestion.
